3rd Test: South Africa v England at Johannesburg
8.30am UK time start
South Africa (possible) 1 Dean Elgar, 2 Quinton de Kock (wk), 3 Hashim Amla, 4 AB de Villiers (capt), 5 Faf du Plessis, 6 Temba Bavuma, 7 JP Duminy, 8 Chris Morris, 9 Kagiso Rabada, 10 Hardus Viljoen, 11 Morne Morkel

Alex Hales was suffering from a throat infection on the eve of the Test and a decision on his participation would be taken on the morning of the game. If he is forced to sit out, it is likely that Nick Compton would open with Gary Ballance returning to side although the No. 3 berth could go to James Taylor.

England 1 Alastair Cook (capt), 2 Alex Hales, 3 Nick Compton, 4 Joe Root, 5 James Taylor, 6 Ben Stokes, 7 Jonny Bairstow (wk), 8 Moeen Ali, 9 Stuart Broad, 10 James Anderson, 11 Steven Finn

AB deVilliers captains SA in a Test for the first time.
No Steyn and no spinner for SA. You'd imagine England would want to bat first and put SA out of the series.

South Africa have been forced into a late change for the third Test against England after wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock suffered a knee injury.

He will be replaced by Dane Vilas as the home side, led by AB de Villiers, look to get on level terms.

If Eng bat ABDeV will keep wicket till the other bloke turns up.
DeKock hurt his knee at home, went to bed thinking it was ok and woke up in AGONY

They do seem to be injury prone these Saffas

David Lynn has just hit five sixes in a row for Brisbane Heat. Pretty impressive.

Re: 3rd Test: South Africa v England at Johannesburg
Amla was out. Was smashing the bails off of middle stump without question.

Unfortunately so as not to totally neuter the umpires, the review rules are setup in favour if the umpires rather than the players.

Contrast that with tennis where the slightest hint of the ball touching the line based on the replay is considered in.

Only thing you can say is that without 'umpires call' most tests would be over in 3 days as sooooo many decisions are listed as 'umpires call'.
